Greetings, people of the Earth.

This is another blog of mine, and I'll try to keep it here, at http://blog.runeskaug.com. Easier to remember, right?

By the way, for those of you who don't know me;
My name is Rune Skaug, I live in Oslo, Norway (yeah, that's in Europe!), and I work as a presales consultant for Oracle.

Yeah, I work a few (6-7) levels below Larry "his yacht is a ferry" Ellison. Anyway, at work, I don't have much to do with the famous databases, I usually demo our finest integration products, and suggest that people use them in their Service Oriented Architecture.

Previously I have been writing randomly about different types of things, like travel, music, pets and day-to-day-stuff, and some technical posts (which in my case evolves around web development, software development, gadgets, blogs, my work etc), but I think this time I'll concentrate on my work and technical subjects (and they are, I guess, among the most blog-friendly subjects).

So we'll see what happens. Maybe I'll get things going in here, maybe not. Wish me luck.
